About the Opportunity
About the EventCode-Clash is an ICPC-style competitive programming contest designed to provide participants with a challenging and practical coding environment. The competition focuses on logical thinking, algorithmic problem-solving, efficient implementation, optimization, and coding under strict time constraints.GuidelinesThe event is open to undergraduate students from colleges/universities in India.Participants must have basic programming knowledge and familiarity with algorithms and problem-solving.Participation is team-based.Each team must consist of 2–3 members.Inter-college teams are allowed.Participants from different branches/specializations may form a team.Each team will use one computer provided/assigned in the computer laboratory.Participants must use the login credentials provided by the organizers.The contest will be conducted using the systems available in the computer lab.Supported programming languages are:CC++JavaPythonThe contest will be conducted for 3 hours.The event will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on 25 September 2026.The contest will be conducted offline at the RV University Computer Lab, using an online contest platform.The maximum expected participation is approximately 90–150 students / 30–50 teams, subject to capacity.Registration fee: ₹150 per team.Registration deadline: 25 September 2026.Competition FormatSingle Round – Competitive Programming ContestThe event consists of one continuous 3-hour round.Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PMDuration: 3 hoursMode: OfflineVenue: Computer Lab, RV UniversityPlatform: DOMjudgeDuring the contest:Teams will receive access to the programming problems through the contest platform.Teams will analyze the problems and develop solutions.Solutions can be submitted using C, C++, Java, or Python.Each submission will be automatically evaluated by DOMjudge.Teams will receive results based on whether their submitted solutions pass the required test cases.Teams can make multiple submissions during the contest.Rankings will be updated according to the contest scoring system.There are no separate preliminary, semi-final, or final rounds.Judging & ScoringThe contest follows an ICPC-style scoring system.Teams will be ranked based on:Number of problems successfully solvedPoints associated with the solved problemsTime taken to solve the problemsPenalties incurred due to incorrect submissionsSolutions will be automatically evaluated using DOMjudge.In accordance with ICPC-style scoring, incorrect submissions may result in penalty time.The team with the best overall ranking at the end of the contest will be declared the winner.RulesEach team must have 2–3 members.Only one computer may be used by each team.Participants must use only the programming languages permitted for the contest: C, C++, Java, and Python.Participants must use the login credentials provided by the organizers.Participants must not engage in plagiarism or unauthorized collaboration.Teams must not share solutions or code with other teams during the contest.Any attempt to obtain unfair assistance may result in disqualification.Participants must comply with all online proctoring requirements, if applicable.Participants must follow the instructions of event coordinators, invigilators, and the technical team.Any form of malpractice, plagiarism, cheating, or violation of contest integrity may result in immediate disqualification.Participants must report to the venue before the contest begins.Participants must use only the systems and resources permitted by the organizers.The decision of the event organizers regarding rule violations, scoring, and final rankings will be final and binding.Prizes & CertificatesWinner: ₹3,000 + Trophy + CertificateRunner-Up: ₹2,000 + Certificate2nd Runner-Up: ₹1,000 + CertificateParticipation certificates will be provided to all participating teams.Important InformationDate: 25 September 2026Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PMDuration: 3 HoursVenue: Computer Lab, RV UniversityMode: OfflineTeam Size: 2–3 membersRegistration Fee: ₹150 per teamRegistration Deadline: 25 September 2026Platform: DOMjudgeLanguages: C, C++, Java, Python
