Please register only if your institution is located in West Bengal.Get ready to showcase your innovation, creativity, and coding skills at the Craft N Code West Bengal State Qualifier, organized by Jadavpur University. This qualifier provides an opportunity for West Bengal's talented student innovators to showcase their skills and compete for a chance to advance to the Craft N Code National Hackathon, hosted by IIIT Bhubaneswar.The West Bengal State Qualifier will follow a structured evaluation process where teams will get the opportunity to understand the challenge, brainstorm innovative ideas, develop technology-driven solutions, and present their projects. Participants will be evaluated on their problem-solving approach, innovation, technical implementation, creativity, presentation, and overall impact of their solutions.Important Dates:Registration Opens: 29 August 2026Submission Window: 1–20 September 2026Craft N Code is more than just a coding competition, it is a platform for solving real-world problems through technology, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Participants will get the opportunity to transform their ideas into practical solutions while working alongside talented students and developers from across West Bengal.The following are the tracks for the prelims:HealthTech: Build solutions that improve access, quality, or efficiency of healthcare. Think about diagnostics, telemedicine platforms, mental health tools, patient record management, wearable-driven health monitoring, etc.EdTech: Create tools that make learning more personalized, accessible, or effective. This spans adaptive learning platforms, skill-gap assessment tools, accessibility aids for differently-abled learners, solutions for low-resource/rural education, etc.Cybersecurity & Privacy: Tackle problems around securing systems, data, and identities. Ideas can include threat/anomaly detection, secure authentication mechanisms, privacy-preserving data sharing, tools that help everyday users protect themselves online, etc.Mobility & Transportation: Solve for movement of people or goods; traffic optimization, EV charging infrastructure, public transit efficiency, logistics/fleet management, road safety, etc.AgriTech & Food Security: Address challenges across the farm-to-table chain: crop health monitoring, yield prediction, supply chain traceability, market access for farmers, food waste reduction, etc.Open Innovation: No fixed domain - bring any technically sound idea that solves a genuine problem, even outside the five tracks above.
