Global Innovation Hackathon 2026 – Build for a Better FutureGlobal Innovation Hackathon 2026 is an international online hackathon that brings together students, developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts from around the world to build innovative solutions for real-world challenges.Participants will progress through three stages: Registration, Idea Submission, and Project Submission, followed by Jury Evaluation and Final Presentation.EligibilityParticipants from any country can participate.School students, college/university students, freshers, working professionals, developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts are eligible.Participants from any academic specialization or professional background can participate.Participants can participate individually or in teams.Team size: 1 to 6 members.Inter-college/inter-university teams are allowed.Inter-specialization/interdisciplinary teams are allowed.Members of a team can belong to different countries and institutions.Each participant can be part of only one team.ThemeInnovate Without BordersParticipants are invited to identify a real-world problem and develop an innovative technology-based solution.Suggested domains include:Artificial Intelligence & Machine LearningGenerative AIEducation & EdTechHealthcare & MedTechFinTechCybersecuritySustainability & Climate TechnologySmart CitiesAgriculture & Rural InnovationSocial ImpactAccessibility & InclusionWeb & Mobile ApplicationsData ScienceCloud ComputingEmerging TechnologiesParticipants may also choose a different domain if their idea aligns with the overall theme.Hackathon ProcessRound 1: RegistrationParticipants must register individually or create/join a team of up to 4 members.Format: Online registrationDuration: As per the official hackathon timeline.Only registered participants/teams will be eligible for the Idea Submission round.Round 2: Idea SubmissionParticipants/teams will submit one original idea based on the hackathon theme.The idea submission should include:Problem StatementProposed SolutionInnovation/UniquenessTarget UsersExpected ImpactProposed TechnologyFeasibilityScalabilityBrief Implementation ApproachNumber of ideas allowed: One idea per participant/team.Duration: As per the official hackathon timeline.Submitted ideas will be evaluated by the organizing/judging team.
