About the Opportunity
We are thrilled to invite you to HerSpark Ideathon 2026, an innovation-focused ideathon designed exclusively for female students to showcase their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas. HerSpark provides a platform for young women to identify real-world challenges, develop meaningful solutions, and present their ideas before experienced judges and mentors. The ideathon aims to enhance technical and creative skills while fostering confidence, innovation, leadership, and future-ready thinking.Who Can Participate?The ideathon is open to female students from eligible educational institutions.Track 1: Students from the 11th & 12th Science stream and Diploma programs.Track 2: Engineering students.Teams must consist of 2–4 female members.Teams can include students from the same or different educational institutions.Multiple teams from the same institution are welcome.Tracks & Themes:Participants can choose the track relevant to their educational background and explore innovative solutions within the respective theme:Track 1 – Empowering Tomorrow’s WomenFor 11th & 12th Science and Diploma StudentsTheme: Digital Literacy, Financial Independence, Innovation & Future-Ready Skills.Participants are encouraged to develop innovative ideas that empower women through digital awareness, financial independence, creativity, and skills required for the future.Track 2 – Women at the Tech FrontierFor Engineering StudentsTheme: Cybersecurity, Emerging Technologies, Innovation, Leadership & Entrepreneurship.Participants are encouraged to explore technology-driven solutions while addressing challenges related to cybersecurity, emerging technologies, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship.Why Participate?Empower & Innovate: Develop innovative solutions addressing meaningful challenges faced by society and women.Showcase Your Ideas: Present your creative and technical ideas before an experienced judging panel.Build Your Confidence: Strengthen your communication, problem-solving, technical, and creative abilities.Collaborate with Peers: Work in teams, exchange ideas, and transform concepts into impactful solutions.Learn from Experts: Interact with notable female alumni, faculty members, and industry experts serving as judges and mentors.Gain Recognition: Get an opportunity to have your idea evaluated and recognized at a competitive innovation platform.Exciting Awards: Compete for trophies, momentos, and certificates across the different categories.Round 1 – Online Idea Submission & Screening (23 September 2026):Format: Online idea-pitch submission.Teams must prepare a 5–7 slide PowerPoint presentation covering:Problem StatementProposed SolutionTarget AudienceUniquenessExpected ImpactParticipants will submit their idea pitch through the designated submission platform.Ideas will be evaluated by the judging panel based on predefined evaluation rubrics.25 teams will be shortlisted for the offline finale, with 5 teams selected per track/category as applicable.Round 2 – Offline Ideathon Finale (30 September 2026):Shortlisted teams will participate in a 6-hour offline Ideathon.Teams will further develop and present their proposed solution based on the challenge and theme.Participants will be expected to demonstrate their understanding of the:ProblemProposed SolutionTarget AudienceUniquenessImpactTeams will be evaluated by the judging panel using the prescribed evaluation rubrics.Participants will have the opportunity to receive guidance and feedback from experienced judges and mentors.1 Winner and 1 Runner-Up will be selected per category.Submission Requirements:Each participating team must submit:Idea Pitch: A 5–7 slide PowerPoint presentation covering the problem, proposed solution, target audience, uniqueness, and impact.Prototype/Mockup: A basic prototype or mockup demonstrating the proposed solution.Judging & Mentorship:HerSpark Ideathon 2026 will bring together notable female alumni, faculty members, and industry experts as judges and mentors.
