About the Opportunity

OverviewWebRush is a fully online, individual frontend development hackathon where participants will have 6 hours to transform a given challenge into a complete, polished, and functional web experience.This is a frontend-only competition focused on creativity, UI/UX, responsiveness, interaction, and implementation skills.ChallengeAt the start of the hackathon, one common challenge/problem statement will be provided to all participants.Participants must build their solution entirely within the given 6-hour time limit.The challenge is simple:You get one problem. You get 6 hours. Build the best web experience you can.Participants are expected to turn the given idea into a visually appealing, responsive, interactive, and well-executed frontend website.Technology & ToolsParticipants are free to use any frontend technology, framework, library, or development tool.HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and other frontend technologies are allowed.Participants may use modern frontend development tools and libraries as required.Backend technologies and backend implementation are NOT allowed.No backend server, database, authentication system, or server-side application is required for the solution.ParticipationIndividual participation onlyEach participant must develop and submit their own solution.Team participation is not allowed.The event is completely online.DurationThe total development time is strictly limited to 6 hours.Participants must:Receive the challenge.Plan and design their solution.Develop the frontend.Test and optimize the website.Deploy and submit their final solution within the given 6-hour window.SubmissionParticipants will be required to submit their completed project before the deadline.The submission may include:Live deployed websiteGitHub repositoryShort project descriptionTechnologies/tools usedAny additional details requested by the organizersRulesThe event is frontend-only.Individual participation only.All participants will receive the same challenge.The solution must be created within the 6-hour hackathon window.Frontend frameworks, libraries, UI libraries, and development tools are allowed.Backend tools/technologies are not allowed.Participants cannot submit a previously built project.The submitted project should be relevant to the given challenge.The final submission must be made before the deadline.Late submissions may not be considered for evaluation.Participants are responsible for ensuring that their deployed website and repository are accessible to the organizers/judges.Any form of plagiarism or submission of someone else's work may lead to disqualification.The organizers reserve the right to disqualify submissions that violate the rules.EvaluationProjects will be evaluated based on:UI/UX & Visual DesignCreativity & InnovationFunctionality & InteractivityResponsivenessCode QualityOverall Execution of the ChallengeThe objective is not just to build a website, but to see how effectively you can turn a problem statement into a polished frontend experience in just 6 hours.The WebRush ChallengeOne Challenge.
